On Saturday, 26 February 2022, the Bryanston Breakfast Toastmasters Club hosted its 3rd successful hybrid meeting. Our toastmaster for the day was Dino Lupini. His theme centred around the Winter Olympics and lessons we can learn from the participating athletes. What a blast it was having members in the club meeting room as well as on the virtual platform.
Despite the many challenges faced during the initial moments of the meeting, as a team, all the members pulled through to overcome the challenge and ensure that the meeting took place accordingly.
We had an amazing ice-breaker speech delivered by our newest member, Angela Yeung who is set to be inaugurated into the club during our next meeting. Another member who gave a prepared speech was our 2021/2022 club president, Matthew Maila. Both speakers delivered electrifying speeches and we are grateful that they are members of our club.
Thank you to the guest who joined into the meeting, a bigger thank you to the members for living up to their commitment and attending the meeting, and a MASSIVE thank you to all the members brave enough to take on a role in the club meeting. The meeting was only as successful as it was because you were present.
We appreciate you. We appreciate your commitment to the club. We thank you for trusting us with your growth within the toastmasters space.
Congratulations Bryanston Breakfast Club for an amazing 3rd successfully run hybrid meeting. Remember to sign-up for meeting roles at our next club meeting.
